Sitaram Shaddharanam Kashayam

Kapha dosha in the abnormal state hinders the normal functions of the body. It hinders proper digestion and metabolism. Build up of metabolic toxins in the body is reflected in skewed blood parameters and chronic inflammation. This condition characterizes ‘Ama’, the condition that lies at the root of all disease, according to Ayurveda. Vata dosha, provoked by the hindering Kapha manifests as chronic intermittent pain in the joints and connective tissue, commonly called rheumatism. Shaddharanam Kashayam with its hot potency breaks through the pain, inflammation and rigidity imposed by Vata-Kapha vitiation in tandem.
